My buddy Vernon and I were headed to Griffith Park to take some photos when we spotted a car driving north on the 605 with a huge RC airplane in trunk. We followed the guy to Whittier Narrows regional park where we discoved the SGV Radio Control League! The guys from the club were nice enough to let us onto the flight line to take some pictures. To give you a sense of scale, that yellow airplane's wingspan is about 5'!
