I sold my Nikon D40 a bought a Nikon D300 which is the nicest camera I've ever used. Vernon and I took it to Huntington's "Dog" Beach to try it out. Most of the wider angle shots were made using a Nikkor 24mm AF f/2.8 non-D as well as my Nikkor 50mm AF f/1.8 non-D while the longer shots were taken with a Nikkor 70-210mm AF f/4-5.6mm. The biggest change for me was the fact that I can finally auto-focus my autofocus lenses!
