Head
installed as well as a new water pump, timing belt pulley, and tensioner.
The blue tape is to keep the ports clean.

of the combustion chambers. Notice the black titanium nitride
coated stainless steel valves. The coating is supposed to reduce
friction which increases horsepower.I've since replaced all the
exhaust studs with new OEM Honda studs. |

are actually titanium nitride coated titanium valve retainers.
Uncoated titanium parts gall over time. The titanium nitride
coating increases the surface hardness to prevent galling. |
